New Move is a workforce readiness and skills training program designed for justice-impacted individuals seeking sustainable employment, economic mobility, and long-term stability. Rooted in lived experience, liberation, and accountability, the Academy equips participants with practical skills, career pathways, and the confidence to make their next move toward independence and success.

New Move Academy is powered by Leveled Up Reentry, ensuring participants receive holistic, trauma-informed support that addresses real-life barriers to employment.

Our Mission

To prepare justice-impacted individuals for meaningful employment by providing hands-on training, career development, and wraparound support.

 

Who We Serve

Training pathways may include:

  • Moving, hauling, and logistics

  • Cleaning and facility services

  • Culinary and food service support

  • Landscaping and grounds maintenance

  • Construction-adjacent and labor-based roles

We prioritize BIPOC individuals and those historically excluded from traditional employment pipelines.

  • Resume development & interview preparation

  • Workplace expectations & professional communication

  • Time management, accountability, and job retention skills
     

Industry-Based Training

Training pathways may include:

  • Transportation & logistics

  • Janitorial 

  • Customer service 

  • Construction-adjacent and labor-based roles
